Get ready for the time of your life at our Summer Solstice Campout at Beals Point (Folsom Lake), June 20-22!!! ☀️🌞☀️ This is a supported campout ~ we bring the food, carry your gear, got SAG ~ you bring the vibes!
Meet: 11 am Friday, Sacramento Amtrak ~Ride 32 miles 🚲🚃 🏕️
Saturday: Gravel Jammer + swim day! 🤽
Sunday: Head home! ~32 miles 🚲🚃🛌
Route Description: Choo choo! On Friday, we’ll start at the Sacramento Amtrak station at 11am. (Groups can travel to Sac together on Amtrak from SF or East Bay from the Emeryville Station.) All aboard! 🚂 From there, we’ll mosey through the parking lot and make our way through Old Sacramento, where we’ll enter the American River Parkway. 🏞️ It’s a straight shot to camp: the American River Parkway ends at Beals Point Recreation Area and then our home for the weekend at Beals Point Campground. 🏕️ The Sunday route is the same exact way, in reverse.

Conditions: Paved/Road, mostly pedestrian trail ~ American River Parkway. Light, hard-packed gravel around Beals Point Recreation Area & Granite Bay.
Recommended tires: Whatever you’re comfortable with. At least 32mm tires for gravel routes on Saturday.
Pace: 10-13mph on flats, 3-5mph on climbs.
Approx time: 4-5 hours one-way, with stops.
