⛰️ 🚲 San Gabriel Mountains Campout ⛰️ 🚲 October 18 & 19
There are two Route options for this trip: the full version is 36 miles round trip with a sustained road climb, and the short version is only 12 miles round trip (perfect for beginners or those short on time), all on a bike path and mostly flat. Both routes are 100% paved.
A road bike, touring, or gravel bike is ideal for this route.
🚲Previous bikepacking experience is NOT needed; first-time bikepackers are encouraged!
🙂This is a guided trip with ride leads and sweeps, but there is no sag or outside vehicle support on this ride. All campers are responsible for themselves and their decisions. Riders are responsible for ensuring their bikes are tuned up and ready to ride.
🌼To create a more accessible registration process, we introduced a lottery system this year to give more folks a chance to register and help ensure that spots are distributed more equitably. In line with our mission, we will be prioritizing 50% of our campout lottery spots for BIPOC, transgender, and gender expansive riders. Furthermore, first-time bikepackers will receive additional weight in the lottery selection for this trip.

💸We are asking for a sliding scale donation of $15- $30 for this trip.
💕WWCC is an intentional space to celebrate, connect, and center ALL gender-expansive and women riders while creating and expanding pedal-powered access to the outdoors.
