Bikepack in a group, approximately 65 Miles from Brooklyn, NY (Grand Army Plaza) to Cathedral Pines County Park and camp at the Long Island Mountain Bike Festival.

2025 Long Island Mountain Bike Festival: Presented by C.L.IMB

October 18-19, 2025

This event is FREE to show up and partake in the activities!!

They will have an exciting weekend schedule of events, including rides, vendor booths, raffles, and more! (Yes, I’ll also have a Concrete Revolt vendor booth with up-cycled fashion)

We bike on Friday AM, Oct 17th, and arrive Friday afternoon (Approx 65 Miles). We will camp in the main field with access to camp showers and water.

Must Bring:

-Bike loaded with sleeping gear and a tent. (Some gear is available on loan from the Concrete Trails Gear Closet, located at Principles Coffee in Brooklyn)

-Bike tools (some of us will have tools for group use).

-Money for food, snacks. Food trucks are on premises Saturday and Sunday at the Mountain Bike Festival. (We will be camped right near them)

-Extra clothes and toiletries. For example, soap, shampoo, and a toothbrush. Warmer layers like thermals or a down jacket.

Note 1: There will be a train route back to NYC on Sunday via the LIRR trains, and someone will be leading this group back to the train station from the camp.

Note 2: For $20, you will have a guided lead bike ride to Long Island. We are looking to build a group of 12 for safe riding in NYC traffic. A route will be made available the week of Sept 15th in Ride with GPS.
