Community

Moe Nadeau (she/her) is an avid bikepacker, mountain biker, and community organizer based in Nelson, BC. She is the founder of Building Momentum Bikepacking (BMB), a community organization dedicated to making bikepacking more accessible for women and gender-diverse riders through technical workshops, social events, and most recently, a free gear library. Moe has explored countless backroads and trails across North America by bike, using bikepacking as a way to connect with people, place, and nature. Her passion for building welcoming cycling communities led her to create the West Kootenay Route Network Hub for BIKEPACKING.com, coach mountain bike clinics with SheRides, and establish BMB, among others. She believes that access to equipment, knowledge, and community can transform who feels welcome in the outdoors.
