Cameron (he/they, Anchorage, AK) believes the kindness of humanity is best remembered after a week on the saddle. Having spent 13 years in various land management roles such as Cave Surveyor, Park Ranger, Park Law Enforcement, Environmental Educator, Public Affairs Officer, & Smokey the Bear, Cameron’s love for bikepacking is grounded in the shared awe and stewardship of our public lands. Today, in addition to his role as Routes Program Manager, Cameron runs a consulting business offering geospatial solutions to government and nonprofit partners as well as design and engineering services within the cycling Industry. Cameron is an accomplished filmmaker and photographer having had films in the Film by Bike Tour, been recognized as an Indie Film Maker of the Year by Bikepacking.com, and having published stills and stories with the likes of Redbull and The Radavist. He has a broad portfolio of bikepacking rides under his belt including the Baja Divide, Oregon Timber Trail, La Ruta Mala, and Montanas Vacias.
