Spring Bikepacking Weekend with RAR.Moab in Utah
May 3 - May 4
Free
Join RAR Moab for a beginner / intermediate bikepacking weekend!
🗓️ Saturday May 3rd – Sunday May 4th in Valley of the Gods
🚵♀️ The group will be riding a 50 mile out-and-back route with 5,000 ft of climbing on rough dirt roads (25 miles each day). We will have a support vehicle at our campsite to supply water for day 2, but riders are expected to carry all their own gear and enough water for 1 day.
🚲 This route is recommended on a hardtail mountain bike, but rideable on a full suspension or gravel bike with a minimum of 42 mm tires. Ride what you’ve got!
⛺️ The organizers recommend previous camping/backpacking experience, as the campsite will require pitching tents on slickrock and backcountry camping with no access to services.
🤝 The organizers will host a virtual planning session a few weeks before the ride to discuss the route, packing your bike, and making sure you have necessary gear. RAR Moab will try to help connect riders to loaner gear as much as possible. This is a beginner/intermediate friendly route for those comfortable with longer day rides.
📝Limited to 15 spots! Registration is live now at the link in our bio, and all sign-ups after spots are filled will be notified that they’re on a waitlist.
