Setting off on your first bikepacking trip might seem daunting, but participating in a bikepacking rally or grand départ with others can make the prospect less intimidating.
We recognize that bike packing is predominantly a white, male space, which can increase the barriers for anyone not in this group trying to get into the sport.
This evening is designed to be a safer space for underrepresented groups, including 2SLGBTQ+, women, PoC, and their allies to learn and share about bikepacking with a focus on planning for the LDW Spring Rallies or similar trips. Thanks for your support.
Presenters:
Jen Adams and Eric Betteridge; Developers of the Log Driver’s Waltz Bikepacking Route.
