This April, Backyard Bikepacking DFW is hosting an overnighter bikepacking trip to Eisenhower SP/Lake Texoma. This will be a great opportunity to get more experience bikepacking without the hassle of planning a route, finding a crew, or leaving your backyard.
The group will be heading from McKinney, TX to Eisenhower SP/Lake Texoma in Cartwright, OK (65 mi) and back (65 mi). Many of the miles will be on unpaved and unmaintained roads, so a gravel or MTB bike is recommended.
