The Appalachian Mountain club is hosting a three-day bikepacking adventure on a route that showcases everything we love (and sometimes curse) about true New England bikepacking. Expect a journey that’s challenging, varied, and beautiful — where forest, water, and weather conspire to keep you humble and inspired in equal measure. This off-road adventure threads together rugged trails, remote forest roads, and rough backcountry connectors — mostly unpaved, with short stretches of pavement to link it all together. The route connects the Richardson–Zlogar Cabin area in Northfield, MA to Barre, MA, with two overnights along the way.
