Have you considered bike touring? It’s something you have always thought you might do, but eek! It’s intimidating! So many unanswered questions, and so many things to think about!

What makes a good touring bike? Can you just use your own road bike? Where do you start when it comes to choosing a location or route? What gear do you need? What are the best brands? What do you pack?! How do you make sure you’re prepared for an emergency? How do you stay safe?

You asked for this workshop and now, we’re delivering! In partnership with the biking experts at Building Momentum, this workshop will cover different packing setups, real-world tips and tricks, and a quick overview of choosing the right bike for your needs. As an in-person workshop, you will have the chance to see how bikes are packed and what you’ll need to hit the road yourself!
