The extra weight will change your balance and how your bike handles. \nA few tips: \n\nPractice starting and stopping with a loaded bike.\nPlan for breaks a little earlier than you normally would.\nDownshift before you stop on a hill so you can get going again more easily.\n\nRegistration \nRegistration is limited to 30 people. All courses begin and end in Pennsylvania’s Endless Mountains\, along the beautiful Susquehanna River’s North Branch. \nThere are three distances to choose from\, and you can race the Grand Depart or ride at a slower\, touring pace. Exact routes will be confirmed closer to the event. For a qualifying time\, racers must ride the entire course\, can purchase supplies from local businesses along the way during public open hours\, and can camp or stay in hotels that are publicly available to all participants. Private support is not allowed. \nRiders will register for a satellite tracker on the Follow My Challenge platform ($30 with a personal device\, $80 if renting a tracker). The public will be able to follow rider progress along the routes via an online tracking map. Register or rent your tracker at https://form.jotform.com/followmychallengeusa/endless-mountains \nA rider packet with event details will be sent out to participants who have registered on Follow My Challenge \n2025 Recap Film: https://youtu.be/g1Wan2A4cl8?si=q_RRwBuFIp4ZJh2V \nDisclaimer: This is a self-supported race event in which riders participate and ride at their own risk. \nThe longest 430-mile route is also known as the Endless Mountains Gravel Bikepacking Loop (EMGBL).
