Leaving (and returning to) Montreal.  We will be heading northwest along the Petit Du Nord Trail to Mt Laurent. We will then head south to Ottawa\, and then east along the Ottawa River back to Montreal. 8 days\, 7 nights (380 miles\, 14\,110 feet of elevation gain). \n\n718 Outdoors in Brooklyn: 2025 Tour and Micro-Tour Season \nRegistration Opens January 3rd\, 2025 \nFor those considering a trip with 718 Outdoors in 2025\, be sure to visit the Testimonials Page. \nItems listed as “Sold Out” are not yet open for registration. \nEach Tour accommodates 16 riders\, along with the organizer and 1 support rider\, totaling 18 participants. For Micro-Tours\, the group includes 23 riders\, the organizer\, and 3 volunteer sweeps\, for a total of 24 participants. Beginners are welcome! \nParticipants who have had a great experience on a Tour or Micro-Tour are encouraged to take a minute to submit a testimonial. SUMMARY:September Bike Campout with the Wild Wolf Cycling Collective in California - REGISTRATION CLOSED
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”teammateRow”][vc_column width=”1/4″ el_class=”teammateImage”][vc_single_image image=”71503″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”” image_hovers=”false”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″ el_class=”teammateDescription”][vc_column_text css=””]🌴 🚲 San Onofre State Beach Campout // Sept 27 & 28 🌴 🚲 \n🗺️ This route was created as a multimodal loop from LA\, utilizing the MetroLink OC Line and bike paths. The route is designed for first-time bikepackers with low mileage and friendly terrain. \n🐢 We give this trip our Turtle rating as it is less than 25 miles each day\, mostly on graded bikeways and flat coastal roads. \n🐩 The terrain both days gets the Poodle rating because the route is 100% on smooth paved roads. \n🚲Previous bikepacking experience is NOT needed; first-time bikepackers are encouraged! A road bike or gravel bike is ideal for this route. \n🙂This is a guided trip with ride leads and sweeps\, but there is no sag or outside vehicle support on this ride. All campers are responsible for themselves and their decisions. Riders are responsible for ensuring their bikes are tuned-up and ready to ride. \n🌼To create a more accessible registration process\, we introduced a lottery system this year to give more folks a chance to register and help ensure that spots are distributed more equitably. In line with our mission\, we will be prioritizing 50% of our campout lottery spots for BIPOC\, transgender\, and gender expansive riders. Furthermore\, first-time bikepackers will receive additional weight in the lottery selection for this trip. \n🎟️To enter the lottery\, please fill out the form linked in our bio. Registration for this trip is open now and will close 8-24. \n⛺️ Our gear library is available to all riders with a full selection of camping gear and bike bags. \n💸We are asking for a sliding scale donation of $15- $30 for this trip. \n💕WWCC is an intentional space to celebrate\, connect\, and center ALL gender-expansive and women riders while creating and expanding pedal-powered access to the outdoors. \n🦄*This event is for and by gender-expansive and women riders who identify as trans\, women\, non-binary\, gender\, and all that identify outside of the gender binary.
