DESCRIPTION:New for 2024! How Low can you go?? \nIntroducing the Super Lowdown! Building on the Bikes or Death mission to make the outdoors and bikepacking accessible for everyone\, the Super Lowdown clocks in at just 83 miles with free camping at Oxford Campground at mile 55 on the route. \nThis is not a race. This is an opportunity to ride your damn bike with a lot of other bikepackers in a beautiful Hill Country setting. \nGPS Tracking is required for safety reasons. \nThis event is being held as a part of the Bikes or Death Texas Showdown series. Here’s a little bit about that series from the Bikes or Death webpage: \nHowdy and welcome to the Texas Showdown Series\, the brainchild of native Texan\, Patrick Farnsworth\, host of the Bikes or Death podcast.   \nThe TSS was created to give adventure cyclist opportunities to explore three very different regions of Texas.  From the Pine Curtains of East Texas\, to the Hills of Central Texas\, and to the remote and rugged desert of West Texas.   \nBikepacking Roots is proud to be a Campout Sponsor for the Texas Lowdown series put on by Patrick and the Bikes or Death team.
