Pedal to Pints 2024 is an exciting summer event offering a scenic bikepacking adventure through northern Vermont’s picturesque landscapes, connecting Dirt Church Brewing Co. with Kingdom Brewing. Participants will enjoy camping, delicious food, live music, and outstanding craft beer along the way. Registration is now open via Eventbrite.

Route Overview:

Starting from Dirt Church Brewing Company in East Haven, Vermont, riders will embark on a journey along tranquil gravel roads, muddy class 4 paths, and challenging long climbs, all while experiencing the stunning views of the Northeast Kingdom (NEK). On the first day, they will cover 43 miles with an elevation gain of 4,400 feet, culminating at Kingdom Brewing where they can relax and refresh.

Day 1 Highlights:

On August 3rd, the adventure begins at 10:30 AM with a meet and greet. Participants will finalize packing, refill their water bottles, and receive a brief overview of the journey ahead. By 11:00 AM, the group will set off for a day of biking through Vermont’s picturesque countryside, covering 43 miles.

Around 5:00 PM, the group will arrive at Kingdom Brewing, where they can take a shower, enjoy homemade pizza, and savor finely crafted ales. The evening will be filled with live music, a beautiful sunset, and a cozy camp setup. After a night of festivities, everyone will head to their tents for a restful sleep.

Day 2 Highlights:

On August 4th, participants will wake up around 7:30 AM to the aroma of fresh coffee. After breakfast and packing up, they will review the day’s route before setting off at 9:00 AM for the return trip to Dirt Church Brewing. The second day’s ride is 39 miles with an elevation gain of 3,000 feet, featuring a scenic and rolling route back. The adventure concludes with a celebratory pint at Dirt Church Brewing, where participants can share stories and toast to a successful journey.

Pedal to Pints is a semi-supported bikepacking trip, ideal for both novices and experienced cyclists. Participants are encouraged to bring their gear, but any essentials can be transported by the support van. For those who need a break, the van provides a convenient rest option. The event is designed to challenge riders while offering the reassurance of support along the way.
