Whether a seasoned cyclist or an enthusiastic newcomer seeking a new challenge, GRUSK provides an exceptional experience traversing some of the most stunning mountain scenery in the Eastern United States. Join a number of Bikepacking Roots local community stewards that are also attending and meet the people that are putting out community bikepacking events in your area!

What is GRUSK?
GRUSK is a test of endurance and a celebration of the adventurous spirit in every cyclist. Participants navigate gravel and dirt roads weaving through the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Spruce Knob and the mountains of West Virginia, making it a must-attend event for anyone who loves the thrill of bikepacking and the scenic Appalachian region.
Event Highlights
- Camping: On-site camping available!
- Community Connections: Ride and meet with Bikepacking Roots local regional community stewards!
- Live Music: Enjoy live performances starting at 6 PM on Friday and 7 PM on Saturday.
- Post-Race Dinner: Begins at 2 PM on Saturday.
- Charity Raffle: Join at 6 PM for a chance to win exciting prizes.
- Campfires and Community: Gather around the campfire on Friday and Saturday nights in the heart of Appalachia.

- 6 AM: VENTI and LUNGO 3-day riders depart.
- July 12th:
- 6 AM: VENTI and LUNGO 2-day riders depart.
- 3 PM: Preview Ride to Spruce Knob presented by Lauf Cycles.
- Lauf Cycles demo rides available in the evening.
- July 13th:
- 9 AM: TALL 80 and GRANDE 100 riders depart.
- 10 AM: MEDIO 50 and Highlights riders depart.
- July 14th: Venue closes at 11 AM.
