Campout with Bikes or Death out of Texas

Start the year off right with a bike camping trip hosted by Bikes or Death and led by @farnsw0rthy and @amarlowe89!

You may recognize the route from the @cycleast trips, and you’d be right!  When Cycleast decided to close, Bikes or Death hired Ariel to come and help run/lead/organize events.  The obvious choice was to continue the bike camping trips that he was already leading for Cycleast.  The folks at Bikes or Death are excited to bring both Ariel and this trips under our umbrella and are stoked to be able to offer more bike camping trips going forward.  So if this trip isn’t your jam, stay tuned, they’ll be announcing a lot more events throughout the year.

This bike camping trip is geared towards beginners, first timers, or people that want to go on a chill ride with some chill folks.  The route is only 10 miles long (each day, 20 total) and is primarily on paved surfaces. The group will be camping at McKinney Falls State Park. Shared Campsites with water and electricity are provided as part of your entry. You are responsible to pack, carry, prepare, your own food, water, and shelter.  Each rider should be prepared to be self-sufficient for this ride.  Of course, if anyone needs help there will be a lot of willing people 🙂
