Bikepacking Adventure
Route: Tahoe Meadows up and around Marlette and down to Hobart Reservoir for the night. Then for a long pedal back into town in the morning. We will meet at the rest area bathrooms located at the Meadows. You will be responsible for getting yourself to the Meadows and any other transportation you will need when we get back to town.
The route will consist of singletrack, fire roads (very sandy), and street. The street portion of the ride will be old 395 back into town. A gravel bike with bigger tires would be a good choice, a 2x or 3x hardtail would probably be better. Bring a flasher for the road. It’s always good to be noticed.
As usual, this is a self-supported ride. I will bring a water filter but bring what you need. Make sure your bike and anything else are in good working order.

Day 1 – 16miles 1590ft
Day 2 – 31miles 790ft
