Bikecamping Overnighter with RAR.Tuscon to Gatalina State Park

❗Space is limited to 20 people to ensure a fun and safe experience. Once capacity filled, additional signees will be added to the waitlist. We’ll follow up via email with more details once capacity is filled.

🎉 Bikecamping Q&A + Meet n Greet: Thu Nov 2nd at Tucson Hop Shop from 6-8pm: bikecamping Q&A and meet n greet for folks who RSVP’ed. The event includes sharing borrowed gear, Q&A and getting to know folks who are going on the trip.

✨ Who this trip is for: Please respect that this trip is reserved for women, trans, and gender expansive riders.

🗓️ Time: Sat Nov 18th to Sun Nov 19th. Meet at Himmel Park at 11:30pm on Sat Nov 18th. Rollout by 12pm. Arrive back in mid-afternoon on Sun Nov 19th.

🌵 Route: Primarily biking on paved roads on a bike path. One way is 25 miles, 660 ft elevation. This will be a no drop ride, meaning the group will stick together and there will be many chances to regroup. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44772435

🚵🏾‍♀️ Bike: Road bike, touring bike, and cross bike recommended. If tires are not tubeless, carrying extra tubes is required. Someone will know how to change a tire if help is needed.

💖 Gear: Bring sleeping bag, pad, tent, cooking gear, clothes to sleep in and ride in, bike lights, snacks and food. If you need to borrow camping and/or cycling gear, please reach out to the organizers, and they will do their best to provide what you need!

💧 Food & Water: Bring dinner, lunch and snacks for biking. There is water at camp and along the route.

🏕️ Camping: One reserved group spot at Catalina State Park. Showers, water, firewood and restrooms available.

☀️ Weather: Prep for temps high 70’s and lows in 50’s.
