Beginner Overnighter with Campfire Cycling to Catalina State Park n Tuscon, Arizona

Ready to try your first bike camping trip or just want to ride, camp and hang with some rad folks?

Campfire Cycling is hosting a beginner camping trip to Catalina State Park.

Space is limited, so go ahead and sign up!

The team at Campfire Cycling is available to help if you need any advice, gear, or help.

The ride will be leaving from Campfire Cycling at around 11AM for a 23 mile ride up the loop (Paved bike path) with bathrooms as well as water fountains and options for supplies to Catalina State Park. The group will be staying at a group campground with room for 20 tents.

Campfire Cycling’s Community Events/Rides follow the Campfire Code of Conduct. Campfire Cycling strives to create a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels welcome and heard. Ride leaders do not assume anyone’s abilities based on outwards appearance and take responsibility for their actions and words. Riders are expected to respect the land, it’s original stewards and to leave no trace.

If this is your first bikepacking trip, Campfire Cycling is here to help. Test pack your bike, or just bring your bike and your gear by Campfire Cycling if you would like any advice. Feel free to set up an appointment or just stop on by.

While this is a beginner oriented bikepacking trip, everyone is welcome.

This will be a no drop ride at a party pace with many stops and chances for regrouping as well as resupply. Campfire Cycling will also always have a mechanic at the back of the ride so no one is left behind in case trouble arises. There is also food available near the camp.

Please be prepared with all of your own camping gear, food, and water. There are bathroom facilities (Showers!) and water available at Catalina State Park. There are also Stores and restaurants nearby.
