The Route:
Starting from Buffalo Creek, CO on Saturday, May 25th, we’ll pedal our way to Wellington Lake where we’ll spend the night in reserved campsites nestled amidst breathtaking scenery. After a night of rest and relaxation under the stars, we’ll continue our journey on Sunday, May 26th, completing the second half of the loop. The area is gifted with a vast network of forest roads and singletrack trails, including a spectacular section of the famous Colorado Trail. We’ll be providing a link to the main route we intend to follow but are also happy to share suggestions with any rider who would like to make either day longer or shorter.

Who Should Attend:
This event is ideal for beginning bikepackers who are comfortable riding mountain bikes on singletrack of intermediate difficulty. The atmosphere will be supportive and non-competitive, with the goal of sharing bikepacking and creating a safe and inclusive opportunity to bikepack.
